The Tir Chonail Dining Room

Philip McGlynn has Chaired the organising group of the Lobsters & Lettuce Festival and is hotelier at the Great Northern Hotel. This luxurious, four star hotel is located on 130 acres of parkland and overlooks the Atlantic Ocean, Donegal Bay and the town of Bundoran and is surrounded by a 18 hole Golf Course. The charms of their Tir-Chonail Dining Room are served under the watchful eyes of husband and wife team Brian and Deirdre Gallagher.

Brian and Deirdre will be onsite all weekend to hand out tasters of Traditional Irish Stew, Curry Courgette Soup Soups and a Pork and Bramley Apple Casserole. They will answer any questions you may have about the Hotel or Restaurant.

The Tir-Chonail Dining Room is open for Breakfast from 8am-10am and Dinner from 6.30pm-8.30pm with a full dinner menu on offer, or relax and enjoy a snack or light lunch in our Grill Room open from 12noon until 8.30pm daily with a full A La Carte Menu. After your meal you can enjoy a relaxing drink in our lounge bars or dance the night away in their Atlantic Ballroom.
