Dicey Reilly’s Speciality Beers, Wines and Whiskeys

I am not ashamed to say that I have spent many’s a great night in Ballyshannon’s award winning Bar And Off Licence, Dicey Reillys and I am delighted they will be attending Lobsters & Lettuce Festival 2012.

Diceys is a family run business since 1976 (35 years) and it is renowned for it vast array of wines and craft beers in the Northwest. On the larger field Diceys has won the Connaught/Ulster Off Licence of the year awards 05, 06, 07, 07, 08, 09, 10 & 2011. They will be show casing some of the best Wines and Craft beers available in The North West at their stand during the weekend and they definitely know their stuff.

For craft beer lovers Diceys will have a blonde ale called Bitter & Twisted from award winning Harviestoun Brewery in Scotland and Chimay Triple,  an authentic Trappist beer from Belgium on draught at their stand, along some fantastic World beers in bottle.

For the wine lover there will be an opportunity to try a variety of different styles of wines at our stand and ask the questions they’ve always wanted to know the answers to!

You can meet the team from Diceys at the stand and on Saturday at 5pm Diceys is hosting a wine tutorial “The Right Wine in association with Louis Latour Wines” in the Lobster Marquee.  There will be plenty of tips on Wine and Food matching and sampling various styles of wines.

Brendan, Sinead & Patrick look forward to meeting everyone at their stand this weekend…

and I look forward to sampling some of those beers and perhaps a glass of vino – maybe towards the end of the weekend!
