This writer is a great fan of dilisk and I love to get some from QualitySeaVeg who are based just a little further up the coast from us at Burtonport. My grandmother was from Connemara and she placed great faith in the medicinal properties of Carragheen whenever one of us had a sniffle or was under the weather. I’m looking forward to having a chat with Noreen on the stand so I can bump up my knowledge of these tasty treats and maybe get a little sample dilisk too!
